Starting in June 7th, the International Design Workshop in Naples dedicate to the project of the relationships between ancient and contemporary city, is taking place in Pompeii until June the 25th.

The topic of the urban articulation of Pompeii, “Pompei inside-outside the walls” will consider the persistence of isolation conditions and of exclusion that often characterize the archaeological space in relation to the urban space.

The workshop wants to investigate the issue of the borders of the archaeological areas, of the definition of new possible relationship between the ancient and the contemporary city.
